Joshua Sean Allen (Source: WPD)WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A man in Wilmington tried to run from police after giving consent to let officers search his vehicle.
According to police, Joshua Sean Allen was sitting in a vehicle in the 1600 block of S. 15th Street around 12:30 a.m. Friday.
Allen took off running when officer started to search his vehicle, where they found 11 dosage units of heroin.
Authorities were able to apprehend Allen after the short foot chase, and charged him with possession with intent to sell/deliver heroin, possession of a controlled substance within1,000 feet of a school, and resisting arrest.
