WEATHER: Light showers and mild temperatures

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Some energy with a weak system passing to our north will bring clouds and light showers to the area.  Rainfall totals will generally be under a tenth of an inch.  Highs will be near 70.  Late this afternoon skies will become mostly cloudy.  Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a few spot showers.  Lows will be in the mid 50's.

Saturday and Sunday will be perfect for outdoor activities.   Fire up the grills now! Both days will feature mostly to partly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 70's. Overnight lows will only drop into the mid 50's. Don't forget to wear sunscreen.
