CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A person familiar with the situation says the Carolina Panthers have interviewed New York Giants senior pro personnel analyst David Gettleman and Tennessee Titans vice president of player personnel Lake Dawson for their vacant general manager position.
The person also says the Panthers are scheduled to meet with Minnesota Vikings assistant general manager George Paton on Thursday for the GM position. The person spoke to The Associated Press Wednesday on condition of anonymity because the Panthers have not made the interviews public.
On Tuesday, the Panthers interviewed Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross and Montreal Alouettes general manager Jim Popp.
The Panthers are looking to replace longtime GM Marty Hurney, who was fired six games into the season.
Carolina finished the season 7-9.
