
Photo courtesy: Jasmine McKeeCAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – Town leaders have inked a plan that lifts a ban on tattoo parlors in Carolina Beach.
The businesses will now be allowed to operate within town limits, however, there are conditions.
The parlors can only be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Also, they can only set up shop 200 feet from churches and schools.
The businesses must get a "special use permit" from the town.
The measure passed by a vote of 3-2.
