Interim town manager Bruce ShellCAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – Tuesday night, Bruce Shell was named interim town manager of Carolina Beach, according to Mayor Bob Lewis.
Former Town Manager Tim Owens resigned in November. After that, Ed Parvis was hired to temporarily fill his vacancy.
Shell recently retired as New Hanover County Manager.
He will work around 20 hours a week, at an hourly rate. Lewis said he would also help in the search for a new full time town manager. His contract is open ended, according to Lewis.
