Laney Press Release
Laney High School wons the Battle at the Beach wrestling tournament at Topsail High school. There were eight teams entered into the contest, with Laney Wrestling winning first place by 72 points over second place Topsail High School.
Laney entered thirteen wrestlers in the tournament with all thirteen placing first, second or third. First place winners were: David Bostian (106), Adan Hardy (113), Adam Holden (120), Kirby Cruse (182), Brian Capps (195), and Larry Williams (285). Second Place finishers: Russell Harrison (132), Skyler Wagner (145), Zack Ledford (152), and Marcel Burns (170). Third place finishers: Jonathon Miller (126), Joey Wieble (160), and Grant Bowman (220).
