Officials say a car driving in the outside lane of Dawson Street decided to cut across traffic to turn onto 15th Street and cut off the motorcycle.
It appears the motorcycle rider has a broken ankle and should be okay.
One lane of Dawson Street was shut down at 15th Street while emergency crews cleared the scene.
