According to New Hanover County Dispatch, one person was shot outside the Wilmington Sportsman's Club in the 1100 block of Castle Street in the early morning hours.
Lamont Deshawn LaFoucade (Source: WPD)WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Officers with the Wilmington Police Department have made an arrest in a shooting that happened around 2:00 Friday morning outside the Wilmington Sportsmen's Club in the 1100 block of Castle Street.
According to police, K-9 units helped officers arrest Lamont Deshawn LaFoucade in connection to the shooting. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
A woman was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital. The victim's name and condition has not been released at this time.
This is the second shooting at the Sportsmen's Club. The last one happened four months ago and to our knowledge there have been no arrests.
