CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Cumberland County officials have
charged 21-year-old Sherece Parker, Thursday, with the death of an elderly
Spring Lake man, according to a press release.
Parker is charged with the death of 68-year-old
James"Esaw" Williams of the 400 block of Rutherford St. Williams was
found dead inside his home Sunday, Dec. 16.
An autopsy revealed that Williams died of blunt force trauma
to the upper body.
According to officials, Parker is being held in the
Cumberland County Detention Center without bond for first degree murder and
robbery with a dangerous weapon.
She will appear in court Friday, Jan. 4 at 2:30 p.m. in the
Detention Center Courtroom.
