WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A plug for the Port City in the latest edition of Entertainment Weekly.
Wilmington is mentioned in the "best and worst of 2012" edition of the magazine, on stands now.
In a section about the year's top ten moments in style and design, recent apocalyptic TV shows and movies are being applauded. The magazine states that the "fall of civilization has never looked so good!"
Wilmington gets a nod for being home to NBC's new hit show Revolution.
Here's what the article states:
"A special shout-out to Wilmington, NC, the quaint coastal town (dubbed "Hollywood East") that, having previously served as the backdrop for Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill and Weekend at Bernie's, now plays the role of the postelectric America in Revolution."
