Tyler G. (Source: NC Department of Public Safety)SHALLOTTE, NC (WECT) - A juvenile in custody at Dobbs Youth Development Center was apprehended Saturday after he failed to return to the facility Thursday afternoon following a home visit, according to a news release from an official with the NC Department of Public Safety.
The juvenile, identified as Tyler G., was taken into custody around 1:30 p.m. by Alcohol and Law Enforcement Division agents inside the NC state line on Highway 17.
Tyler has been returned to custody at a Division of Juvenile Justice detention center.
Along with the ALE agents, the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, court counselors with the Division of Juvenile Justice and probation/parole officers with the Community Corrections Section of the Department of Public Safety all helped in the search for Tyler.
