
BALD HEAD ISLAND, NC (WEC) - Bald Head Island will start the new year with 50 less deer.
The village got a permit from the wildlife resources commission to kill 50 deer during next month. It will start Jan. 6 and should last about a week.
Dee culling is allowed through the State Department of Wildlife Management.
