PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The Coty Plant, which went on the auction block in November, has accepted a firm offer and received a deposit, an official for the auction group handling the sale confirmed Friday.

No other information has been provided at this time.

The group that placed the offer was one of the original five bidders.

It's been more than a year since the plant closed.
