WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Thursday is usually the day postal workers consider the busiest day for delivering mail.
But according to Dean Roberts, the postmaster in Wilmington, this past Monday was the busiest day for people mailing items.
He says, package delivery is up 20 percent from last year. Roberts, credits good online deals for that.
If you want something delivered before Christmas, Friday's the last day to do it through priority mail.
Otherwise, Saturday is your last day to send it express. Workers say, that should also get it there before Christmas.
