WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority's water valve replacement project has been postponed until January, after the holidays, due to complications discovered underground at various worksites, according to a news release.
The project covers a portion of 16th St. between Grace and Dawson streets. Customers will be notified prior to the resumption of the work.
Service should remain normal throughout the holiday season. The boil water advisory is expected to be lifted later today, according to officials.
