WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A television style sitcom is playing out on stage in downtown Wilmington.
It's All Relative is a weekly live sitcom being performed at Orton's Pool Room.
"Orton's, I had heard, was looking for something on a weekly basis and it just seemed perfect," said show creator Tony Moore. "They have the space that we need and they're excited and we're excited, so it's going to be a good, symbiotic relationship."
It's All Relative starts with two siblings dropping in on a third, saying they're moving in. Of course, their three different personalities make for some fun story lines.
The concept was created by local playwright Tony Moore, but he says it takes a team to keep the shows on track.
"I started it, but I need more people to help me because I can't do it by myself," said Moore. "And so they bring different elements to it that are more fun than I would have come up with first. It's just a really collaborative effort."
The show premiered on December 12, but if you miss any episodes it's easy to catch up.
"The episodes are stand alone so you can jump in anytime, but they have some stories that go through the whole season, but it's so easy to know what's going on," said Moore.
There's also a recap before each live episode, and the group is posting videos of the shows on its Facebook page.
