WFD Battalion Chief Jimmy Casteen (Source: NHC Jail)WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A battalion chief for the Wilmington Fire Department was arrested late Sunday night for DWI.
WFD Battalion Chief Jimmy Casteen was booked in the New Hanover County Jail Monday morning at 1:00. He posted bond and was picked up by a sober driver.
Casteen is due in court February 18, 2013.
According to Dylan Lee with the city, Casteen is on personal leave, using vacation time he has accrued.
Casteen is not able to report for work because he does not have a driver's license.
