NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The New Hanover County GOP Nominating Committee has selected ABC Board Chairman Thomas Wolfe to fill the vacant county commission seat.
It's not quite a done deal, though -- the GOP Executive Committee will meet Thursday night to discuss the recommendation.
New Hanover County Commissioners meet the following day to consider the recommendation.
Wolfe would fill former Commissioner Rick Catlin's position.
Catlin was recently elected to the North Carolina General Assembly.
