Industry R&D veteran to support plastics pioneer’s continuing advancements in chemistry-based solutions.

General Plastics Manufacturing Company has named Alan Pagni Supervising Research and Development Chemist. In this capacity, Pagni will supervise the company’s ChemLab projects, including the development of new products and the continuous improvement of existing products. He brings more than eight years of experience in the polyurethane products industry developing new products, improving manufacturing efficiencies and managing products through the commercialization process.

Pagni came to General Plastics from Willamette Valley Company, where he was a product development chemist for bio-based materials. He reports to Mitch Johnson, General Plastics’ Director of Research and Development.
