The Nursing Home Complaint Center is convinced sepsis, or septic shock infections are prematurely killing thousands of our nations senior citizens each year. The Nursing Home Complaint Center says, "We are convinced the silent killer for thousands of nursing home patients each year is sepsis, or septic shock. For the most part these types of infections should have never happened, and we are doing everything possible to alert families of nursing home patients about this issue." Frequently sepsis, or septic shock begins because a bed sore was never properly treated. If a family member gets a phone call that a parent, or family member has been rushed from a nursing home to a hospital ER, the Nursing Home Complaint Center wants the family to ask the admitting physician if sepsis, or septic shock is indicated.
