WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A stalled out front off of the eastern North Carolina coastline will act as the highway that precipitation and broad areas of low pressure move along throughout the day. Dreary, cool and wet conditions will be the norm, as our high temperatures, in the mid 50s, occur early in the day. As dark falls another bout of shows, sometimes heavy, will overrun the area.
Thursday morning will start with similar conditions but as the day goes on drier high pressure moves into the region. That means sunny in the afternoon, but cool.
Highs in Friday get close to 60F, while we will move into the mid-60s by the weekend with nice conditions and plenty of sunshine.
