PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Students at Topsail High School were released early from school Monday because of a power outage at the school.
According to Joyce Keith with Pender County Schools, a transformer caused the outage.
Students were released at 1:00 p.m. Power was expected to be restored Monday afternoon.
