Clydesdale horses stomp through Mayfaire for a causeNEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Made popular by an American Brewing Company, a popular commercial crew stomped through Wilmington on Sunday.
The Budweiser Clydesdales took a stroll through Mayfaire, they weren't there to shop but to help raise money for a good cause.
The horses are on tour, stopping at military bases across the US. They were at the shopping center to raise money for the Marine Museum that is being built in Jacksonville.
"The history in North Carolina is so important because there is so much that has come out of the Carolinas," explained Joseph Houle, a former marine.
Organizers were hoping to raise around $500 for the museum. For more info, visit:
