WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Curators at the Burgwin-Wright Museum spent Saturday decorating for Christmas. They decorated the Market Street home to look like it would have in the 1700s, which meant no Christmas Tree, officials say back then they weren't used.
The wreaths were all created from plants in the garden.
The home is part of the event "A Christmas Stroll through the Past." On Sunday, from 5pm until 8pm people will be able to walk from the Burgwin-Wright Museum to the Bellamy Mansion Museum which is also part of the tour. Both homes are decorated for the holidays.
