Kids tell Santa what they want for ChristmasWRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) - Area kids got in the holiday spirit on the beach Saturday. As part of Jingle on the Beach, the kids got to meet Santa and Mrs. Clause and tell them what they wanted for Christmas.
There were also arts and crafts, face painting and treats.
All of the money raised will go to the Cape Fear Volunteer Center, which helps out people in the community.
"We wanted to raise money for the many different families we help through the Cape Fear Volunteer Center," said organizer, Allison Luckadoo. "This seemed like a good way to get a bunch of families involved for a good cause and we knew families would want to see Santa."
Organizers say they plan on hosting the event in the future.
