WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – We will see a considerable amount of cloud cover today, however by late morning into the early afternoon, we should start to see some breaks in the clouds. Temperatures will continue to trend above average for the next couple of days. Expect mostly cloudy skies today with highs in the upper 60s and lows falling into the low 50s.
We could see some areas of patchy fog again overnight, lasting possibly into Sunday morning.
Winds will shift out of the southeast Sunday allowing temperatures to climb even more. We will see less cloud cover than today, but still some afternoon cumulus clouds are expected. Highs will reach the low 70s with lows in the upper 50s.
Mild temperatures are expected through Tuesday, before our next frontal boundary.
