MOREHEAD CITY, NC (WECT) - The Coast Guard has recovered the body of a 57 year old fisherman Sunday, near Cape Lookout.
The man was last seen on Nov. 19 while he was surf fishing at the south end of Portsmouth Island near Morehead City. He has been missing since.
A good Samaritan boater notified the Coast Guard of a body in the water around 12:30pm on Sunday.
The Coast Guard boat crew recovered the body and EMS en route identified the man when his wallet was discovered.
