Richard Carroll (Source: Onslow County Sheriff’s Office)ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Onslow County officials arrested Richard Carroll Wednesday, Nov. 28 after receiving a report from the Onslow County Department of Social Services in reference to an alleged sexual assault on a child, according to the Onslow County Sheriff's Office.
As a result of the investigation into this incident, it was discovered that over the past 14 years Carroll has been having an illegal, improper and indecent relationship with two female juveniles while they were between the ages of 8 and 10-years-old.
According to officials, Carroll is charged with 5 counts of first degree statutory sex offense and 5 counts of indecent liberties with a child.
His bond is set at $600,000.
