WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington officials responded to a call around 11 p.m. Thursday, in the 1000 block of S. 6th St., in response to a stabbing, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
According to officials, 40-year-old Lamondo Murray got into an argument with his wife over an EBT card. The victim told officers that Murray came into the bedroom and stabbed her in the back.
The victim had a small laceration in the small of her back for which she received several staples.
Murray was charged with ADW and booked into the New Hanover County Jail and is being held without bond.
