Members of the Army Corps recently met with town leaders to see how the move is going, and they say it's headed in the right direction.
Most of the items are gone, but the town still needs to find space for its dumpsters and fleet maintenance. They are also looking at outsourcing those two items.
Carolina Beach has until Dec. 31 to clear out.
