The 2nd annual Wilmington Theater Awards will be held at Thalian Hall on January 9.WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Dozens of local theater productions have been recognized by the StarNews.
The newspaper announced the nominations for the second annual Wilmington Theater Awards. More than 30 productions are represented. To see a list of nominees, click here.
The ceremony will take place Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Thalian Hall. It will be hosted by local actor and musician Zach Hanner, with music direction by Jonathan Barber.
Last year's event was a big success with Opera House Theatre Company's production of Hairspray taking home the most awards.
