BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office are investigating an armed robbery that happened at Winners World Thursday morning.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, the robbery happened around 6:00 a.m.

There were two people involved, both identified as black males. One was heavy built about 270-300 pounds with no mask. The other male was tall and slim about 170 pounds with a mask covering his face.

The amount of cash that was taken is unknown. Both men left in a car in an unknown direction.

Officials said they are investigating a death relating to the incident.

There is a $500 reward for the arrest and conviction of the two subjects involved in this robbery.
