Kenneth Ross Jessup (Source: Brunswick Co. sheriff's Office)BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A man accused of writing a worthless check, among other things, was arrested at Wrightsville Beach Wednesday night.
According to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, Kenneth Ross Jessup, 45, was wanted for forgery and writing worthless checks.
Officials said Jessup was seen in the Southport area earlier this month, but an anonymous tip reported he was at Wrightsville Beach Wednesday.
Jessup was arrested and charged with:
-14 counts common law forgery
-14 counts common law uttering
-2 counts felony worthless check
-1 count of misdemeanor checks
-Bench warrant for contempt of court
