Officers with the Wilmington Police Department are investigating an apparent shooting that happened Wednesday morning around 10:30.

According to dispatch operators, someone was shot in the leg near N. 30th Street.
While few details are known at this time, police could confirm that a person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Officers are trying to interview the victim, but say the victim is not cooperating.
