Valerie Smith will now spend 45 days in jail and three years on probation.
According to prosecutors, Smith would not cooperate with authorities during a larceny call involving her son back in December 2011.
They say Smith threw a bucket of pecans and spit on a deputy.
Back in 2000, Smith was charged with assault on a government official.
