NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Citizens in New Hanover County can help write the next chapter in the story of North Carolina's economy. A discussion called "Building a Stronger North Carolina" will be held in Wilmington Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.
The discussion will be hosted by staff from the Budget and Tax Center as part of a project of the N.C. Justice Center and United Way. Those who attend will talk about top issues in state public policy, like the impact of current economic conditions on working families and the state budget.
The event is open to the community and will take place this morning at the New Hanover County Executive Development Center.
