Women get free manicures at an event for cancer patients and survivors.WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - When you are battling cancer, life can become all about treatments. However, a local non-profit is offering a different kind of treatment for patients, survivors and caregivers.
"Hope for the Holidays Spa Event" is a special spa day put together through the efforts of the non-profit Women of Hope and Miller Motte College.
Students and instructors at the school volunteered their time to give oncology organic facials, paraffin hand dips/massages (with optional nail polish coat), make-up application and chair massages to those who cancer has touched.
