WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – While low temperatures will be at or below the freezing mark, weak high pressure and southerly winds will help to trigger a fast warm up across eastern North Carolina. Daytime high temperatures will reach the low to mid 60s beneath sunny skies.
Tuesday clouds will increase ahead of an eastward moving cold front that will bring shower chances to the area for Tuesday evening into Wednesday. Much cooler temperatures, although more sunshine, is on tap for the remainder of the work week.
A early weekend cold front may leave us with showers on Saturday
