
Nicholas Stevens (Source: New Hanover Sheriff's Dept.)NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC - (WECT) - According to the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office, three people are charged with attempting to steal Christmas trees from the Optimist Club of Winter Park's sale.
The sale has been going on for more than 20 years, and is taking place at Hugh McRae Park.
The Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old Tyler Brodeur, 22-year-old Nicholas Stevens and a 16-year-old were charged with larceny and first degree trespassing.
Brodeur was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
