
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The annual Cape Fear Festival of Trees has returned and has a new home this year. In partnership with the Wilmington Ballet and Lower Cape Fear Hospice, the local holiday tradition has moved to the Cameron Art Museum.
The festival showcases 25 beautifully decorated Christmas trees throughout the museum. Each of the trees are sponsored by businesses and organizations from around the area.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to local organizations around the area, including Hospice and the Wilmington ballet
The Wilmington Ballet will also be performing a Christmas classic, the Nutcracker. This special presentation will take place at The Minnie Evans Performing Arts Center at Ashley High School on December 1 and 2.
The Festival of Trees event extends through next Sunday, December 2.
