WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – About 92 percent of sudden cardiac arrest victims die before reaching the hospital, according to the American Heart Association. CPR can double, or even triple, a victim's chance of survival.

Employees with the hospital set up post at the Wilmington airport Wednesday in an effort to train 200,000 people to do hands-only CPR. They were at the airport from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and said training only takes a matter of minutes.

According to the American Heart Association website, hands-only CPR involves pushing hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of the classic disco song "Stayin' Alive."
