(Source: Pender Co. Sheriff's Office)PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Pender County Sheriffs are searching for a man they say robbed the La Tienda Esmeralda Store Monday night.
According to sheriffs, the suspect walked into the store located at 7524 Hwy 117 South in Rocky Point.
He then pulled out a handgun and demanded money. Sheriffs say he was last seen headed South towards the Hwy 210/ Hwy 117 intersection near the I-40 interchange.
It's not known how much money he got away with.
The suspected is described as a male, 5'08" tall, muscular build, wearing a white jacket and wearing a cold weather hat with ear flaps.
