MOREHEAD CITY, NC (WECT) – The Coast Guard is looking for a man who went missing in the waters near Morehead City.
In a press release, the Coast Guard says the man is 57-years-old.
They say he was last seen Monday, going underwater while out surf fishing on the south end of Portsmouth Island.
911 dispatchers called the Coast Guard around 5:15 p.m., saying no one had seen him come back up.
Crews are using boats and a helicopter in the search for this missing man.
