No. 2 ranked Alabama prepares to take on an Auburn team that has yet to win an SEC game this season. While Crimson Tide fans have already written off the 3-8 Tigers head coach, Nick Saban, was quick to bring everyone back to earth.
"We are not in any conversations about anything other than the game we are playing," Saban said. "Unless we win the next game, we don't have another game. We are trying to work our way into a conversation by how we play. We are not trying to hold a position. We are trying to create one."
The Alabama football program continues to emphasize ignoring outside talk. Although it's close to impossible to shutout all the noise, the team said their only focused on Auburn.
"We're not fans so we are focused on this game," said C.J. Mosley. "We just try to focus on every week and each game that we are playing."
The 77th Iron Bowl will kickoff at 2:30 Saturday afternoon in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
