NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - County Manager, Chris Coudriet, directed that a survey be put into place to gain insight into how the community perceived county services and their level of satisfaction with the services, according to a news release.
"Delivering true value for taxpayer dollars begins first by engaging in a dialogue with our community about its perceptions and satisfaction with County services," said Coudriet.
Beginning in late November, a survey will be sent to about 4,000 randomly selected county households with questions regarding their recent experience with New Hanover County.
"This survey is an opportunity to hear what our citizens have to say about what we do well and what needs improvement. Using these results, we can deliver more effective, efficient and responsive outcomes," said Coudriet.
According to the news release, the feedback received from the surveys will be the foundation for discussions beginning in the new year to address county priorities, evaluate customer service, and provide an important baseline for the Board of county commissioners.
