The flipped carWILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington Police responded to an accident Friday morning on Greenville Loop Rd. where a vehicle landed upside-down.
Greenville Loop Rd. was closed between Hunters Mill Lane and Clearbrook Drive.
According to a Wilmington Police officer on the scene, the driver of the vehicle clipped the side of a garbage truck and ended up flipping the vehicle.
The driver of that vehicle was transported to the hospital. No word yet on how extensive their injuries were. No one from the trash truck was injured.
