NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – District Attorney Ben David talked to parents and teens at Hoggard High School about online safety issues, including cyberbullying and sexting.
School leaders have expressed concerns about cyberbullying.
Interim Principal Eric Pfirman said it's a growing problem at Hoggard High School.
That's why he brought together the DA, parents and student to talk about the issue.
David told the group "parents make the best police" and urged that parents monitor and get involved in their child's online activity.
