WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington Police used cadaver dogs Thursday to search for a missing elderly woman.
Alma Lawson, 83, has not been seen in almost two weeks. She was last seen walking in the Love Grove community, not far from her home.
Detectives said Thursday that the rain hampered the dogs' ability to pick up a scent. They hope to take the dogs back out Friday.
Ms. Lawson's son reported her missing Nov. 4 after she didn't return home from a friend's house.
