BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC
(WECT) – Folks in Wilmington and Brunswick County could hear the SABLE
helicopter flying overhead to assist the Leland Police Department with a
robbery investigation in the Brunswick Forest neighborhood overnight.
According to Brunswick
County emergency dispatch, it happened sometime around midnight Thursday. SABLE
flew out to assist the Leland Police Department with a robbery investigation.
At this time, we don't
know who was robbed or any other details. A sergeant with the Leland Police
Department who was on the scene said all information would have to come from
the chief or public information officer in the morning.
