Green Plus helps businesses put sustainability programs into practice

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Businesses in Wilmington can get some help if they're trying to go green.

The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce is launching a new partnership with Green Plus.

With this partnership, businesses can sign up to get help planning and putting new sustainability programs into practice. Then they can get certified. The program costs $350.

Program organizers said it helps the environment and businesses to succeed.

Green Plus is already working with the Wilmington Airport and hopes to expand to other businesses in the area.
